Glossary: Ubiquitous Sensor Networks (USN)

A term favoured in Korea. Very large numbers of low cost sensors communicating wirelessly between themselves in ad hoc networks and to central computer networks. This term is synonymous with Wireless sensor networks or Third Generation Active RFID. Examples of Korean programs are shown below.
